NIDO CENTRE
We are NIDO.
The name comes from the Italian word for nest. That wasn’t an accident. Most of our patients are children and their parents.
They come because something isn’t working the way it should. A child who won’t eat. A baby who cries for hours. A toddler who only turns their head one way. A three-year-old who doesn’t speak. Adults come too — with back pain, migraines, problems they find hard to talk about.

Our philosophy
Why everything is under one roof
The body doesn’t work in isolated parts. Shoulder pain can originate in the liver. A one-year-old’s feeding problems might stem from a tongue-tie, texture sensitivity, diaphragm tension, or anxiety that built up over weeks of forced spoonfuls.
That’s why we brought osteopaths, physiotherapists, neurological speech therapists, speech therapists, sensory integration specialists and psychologists together under one roof. Not so that each one sees patients in a separate room and writes their own set of recommendations. So that they talk to each other about patients. Consult. See the same person from different angles.
Too many families go from one specialist to the next, hearing conflicting advice. One child, six opinions, no solution. We wanted to change that.

Our process
How we work
History
- We ask detailed questions about your health background
- We explore things that might seem unrelated to the problem
- We learn about daily habits and lifestyle
- We listen to what really matters to you
Assessment
- Posture and movement pattern observation
- Functional tests adapted to the patient's age
- With children, assessment happens through play
- Infants show us how they move in their own time
Treatment plan
- We discuss findings and options openly
- Goals are set together, not imposed
- Realistic expectations from the start
- Home recommendations you can actually follow
Team collaboration
- The osteopath talks to the speech therapist
- The physiotherapist consults the psychologist
- One patient, one shared plan
- No conflicting advice
Preparing for your appointment
- Bring any medical records (test results, hospital discharge letters)
- Dress your child in comfortable, easy-to-remove clothing
- Write down any questions you'd like to ask
