MD Karolina Janocha- Surgeon, Neonatologia

Graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Lublin (2006). She completed her postgraduate internship at the Ludwik Rydygier Specialist Hospital in Kraków. In 2016, she obtained her specialist certification in general surgery; in 2022, in paediatrics; and in 2025, in neonatology.

She gained experience working in the General Surgery, Trauma and Orthopaedic, Urology, and Emergency departments, as well as in the Paediatric, Neonatal, and Premature Infant wards at St. Anne's Hospital in Miechów. For many years, she worked on emergency medical teams at the Kraków Emergency Medical Services.

Since 2023, she has been working at a level III neonatal referral centre, treating newborns and premature infants, including those with extremely low birth weight.

At NIDO, she supports our team by caring for the youngest patients — infants up to 3 months of age. As a specialist, she provides consultations for infants up to 3 months of age regarding tongue-tie assessment and performs frenotomy procedures.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking and Nordic walking.
