Katarzyna Proficz- Physiotherapist, Osteopath

Graduate of Osteopathie Schule Deutschland (OSD), where she obtained her Diploma in Osteopathy (D.O.) in 2022. She holds a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Physical Education in Kraków. She also completed the Integrative Therapeutic Massage Post-Secondary School No. 2 in Kraków, earning a massage therapy technician qualification.

She works with both adults and children of all ages and with various conditions, including athletes. She provides physiotherapy and osteopathy in preparation for procedures, after orthopaedic injuries and surgeries, and for acute and chronic pain syndromes of the spine and peripheral joints.

Her growing specialty and particular area of interest is dental physiotherapy. Over the years, working first as a physiotherapist and then expanding her expertise as an osteopath, she recognized that a multidisciplinary approach is essential for achieving therapeutic success.

She currently collaborates with dental practices, providing consultations and therapies that support dental, orthodontic, and speech treatment.

On a daily basis, she treats patients with temporomandibular joint disorders, bruxism, jaw clenching, facial pain, headaches, tinnitus, patients before, during, and after orthodontic treatment, after craniofacial surgical procedures, and those with non-specific dental and ocular pain.

A significant portion of her patients are children over 3 years of age with narrow jaw conditions, high-arched (gothic) palate, retrognathia, and prognathia. Through her work, she supports orthotropics — a treatment approach that enables correction of malocclusion in young children while their facial structures are still developing and growing.

She continuously refines her skills in physiotherapy and osteopathy through various training programmes, courses, and scientific symposia.

She is passionate about travel, sports, and psychology, and in her spare time enjoys reading a good book and weaving macramé.
